How A Place to Land works.
A private written space, read and responded to by Teri on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 5pm UK time.
Time, privacy, and someone who reads properly.
The strength of the format is time and privacy. Writing gives you time and space that can be hard to find in conversation. You write at your own pace, and only what you choose to send reaches Teri.
There is no live back-and-forth. Teri reads what you send properly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 5pm UK time, and responds to what seems most important in what you have shared, rather than working through every point.
A block ends on a stated date, with a closing reflection from Teri, and you choose whether to book again.
What happens, in order.
01Choose a block.
An introductory week to see how it feels, available once. Then one month or three months. One payment, nothing renews, and your block ends on a stated date.
02Write when life is actually happening.
Write whenever you like, day or night, as much or as little as feels right. There is no correct way to do this. What you write stays private to you, and nobody reads it, including Teri, until you choose to send it to her.
03Teri reads and responds.
Teri reads and responds on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 5pm UK time. Anything received before 10am UK time on a response day is included in that day's responses. Anything received at or after 10am rolls over to the next response day. A Place to Land is not continuously monitored and is not an emergency or crisis service. Please never wait for Teri if you or someone else is unsafe: use the urgent help page. There is no live back-and-forth.
04A closing reflection, then you choose.
At the end of your block Teri writes you a closing reflection. Everything you have written stays yours to read. If you want to continue, you choose one month or three months. Nothing renews on its own.
Receives. Reflects. Never pushes.
Teri receives rather than fixes. Every response you receive is personally curated by Teri, with care and attention to what you've shared. Nothing is sent automatically. She takes time to understand what you've shared and respond with care. She takes no side and gives no homework. When Teri is away, you will always see the dates clearly before you send anything.
Only what you choose to send reaches Teri.
Your private space is private to you. Teri reads only what you send her, and nobody else reads any of it. Nothing you write is shared with anybody.
A block, not a subscription.
Support is bought in blocks. Begin with an introductory week, available once, then choose one month or three months.

Twelve weeks, with more time to explore what matters.
Your block ends on a stated date. You are invited to choose again rather than be charged again. Nothing rolls on by itself, and you can pause whenever you need to.
If you would like to be here but cost is getting in the way, please write to me. We can have a conversation about what might be possible. Whatever we agree, you will receive exactly the same care and support as anyone else.
Teri holds twenty places so that everybody is properly heard. When all twenty are taken, you can put your name down instead of paying, and I will write to you the moment a place opens. Names are taken in order, and an offer is held for a fortnight so you have time to decide. Nobody is turned away, and you can come off the list at any time with one click.
